Our
two-story, B & B has many large windows & garden doors to
view our ruggedly beautiful landscape. Sit and relax on our large
deck overlooking the bay and soak up the fresh county air. Our guest
rooms are decorated in warm and inviting colours, each of our three
tastefully decorated guestrooms are furnished with hand-crafted blanket
boxes, attractive furnishings and personal artistic touches.
Guestrooms
are kept clean and equipped with comfortable queen-sized or twin-sized
beds with private or ensuite bathrooms. We've named our guestrooms
after our local communities: The
Meadows The
Summerside and
The Irishtown.
Amenities
in Guestrooms include; down-filled duvets, plus extra blankets,
central heating/air-conditioning, individual heat controls, room darkening
blinds, luggage rack, extra privacy locks, good quality linens and
towels, sitting areas, in-room telephones, an alarm clock/CD player/radio,
Private/or Ensuite washrooms with many bathroom ammenties includes
hair dryers.
A complimentary map of the Bay of Islands and bottled water for your
travels.
Our
guests have use of our grand sitting room with a vaulted ceiling,
stone fireplace and satellite TV/ radio/movies plus telephone, internet
and email access.
At our
B & B, you can freely browse through our travel books and magazines.
Play your hand at a game of crib, chess or scrabble; test your skills
at a game of horse-shoes or bocce balls (available in season).
Our
large deck overlooks the bay and offers comfortable seating for an
evening refreshment or breakfast, weather permitting.
Upon
your arrival we will offer you a complimentary refreshment then just
relax and enjoy the view.
We also
supply an ironing board and provide laundry services at a nominal
fee.
Corner
Brook, only 15 minutes away also offers many fine restaurants
to suite your pallet. Travellers can also take a scenic drive along
the North shore and dine at a cozy family restaurant in Summerside,
McIvers or Cox's Cove and view the spectacular sunsets setting over
the horizon of the Blow-me-down mountains.

4 stars by Canada Select and members of the Bed &
Breakfast Association of Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador.
VISA,
Master Card, Interact and travelers cheques are accepted. Check-in
is after 3:00 p.m. on; check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
unless otherwise arranged with hosts. Bennett's by the Bay is a non-smoking
property, and unfortunately pets are not permitted.
